Debbie B. Barela serves as Vice President and Commercial Escrow Officer for Fidelity National Title’s National Commercial Services (NCS) operation in Houston, Texas. She began her career in the title industry in 1984 working her way up through the ranks from accounting clerk to comptroller and is experienced in payroll, human resources, and profit & loss reports.

Debbie joined Fidelity in 2001 and, as Commercial Escrow Officer, has closed national hotel chains, power plants, apartment complexes, assisted living facilities, and a national pharmacy chain’s transactions. These include acquisition, replat, sale, and leasehold. With over 34 years vested in the title insurance industry, Debbie prides herself on her strong work ethic, determination to succeed, extreme dedication to client needs, and superior problem resolving abilities. Debbie attended Tennessee Technological University. She moved to Houston during the oil boom of the early 1980’s, joined the land title insurance industry in 1984, married the love of her life in 1986, and raised two children to become successful young men. Debbie enjoys spending free time with close family and lifelong friends.
